There are known to be more Yanxian Tiger-Viera treading around, but because they are endangered, they are an exotic species and down-right mythical even Yanxian villagers.Garlean occupation decimated the tribe after they waged war against them for treading upon their chosen lands. Many were killed for refusing to be drafted into Garlemald's forces, having chosen death over yielding to their enemies. If their weakened ranks weren't killed off by the Lupin, a race of wolf-men they had a long fued with for over 200 years, they spread out into more civil societies and went onto to live amongst the rules of mankind.

She did not join in to fight against the Imperium, as she had no interest.A rich, elder man in Hingashi took Michiko in. She was seen as an exotic pet and, having heard of the legendary tribe that was the Yanxian Viera, was seen as a malleable protector, and from childhood to adulthood, was subject to combat.
Combat
Michiko was taught the ways of the Samurai, but instead of sticking to a traditional form, over the years she grew to attack in an overwhelming aggressive manner, as if she were aiming to break the bones of her adversary over slicing them open. She wants her opponent cowering in pain.If on the other hand, she does not wish to deal with her adversary, those who have faced her acknowledge the fact that she may pull a tiny pistol from her sleeve, where she will dispatch her adversary in rapid succession.
A LIVING RELIC
From what they can recollect, Jenga was a Yanxian-Viera who took up an apprenticeship with a void-mage lala who dually worked as a scientist for the Allagans. They were separate individuals -- said to be siblings, who, having survived the cruel and unusual experiments of the Allagan Empire, emerged as a figure composed of two souls, their body shifting and taking shape based on temperature.They spent eons stuck on Azys La until they were found by The Imperial Forces and sent to a Castrum for further examination. Jenga was the name given to them. They had spent so long in hibernation; they had forgotten what their own name was. All they remembered is they dedicated a portion of their life protecting a lalafell from danger after the Allagan empire Fell to it's own hubris.
